A genuinely special example of Ford’s legendary hot hatch. This Focus RS arrived in New Zealand from the UK with just 58kms, making it effectively an NZ-new example despite being an import — examples with its whole life in NZ are incredibly rare.

It was originally brought into New Zealand by a Ford dealer for one of their own staff members, who owned it for only a couple of months before deciding he didn’t like the colour! It was then purchased by the current owner directly from the same Ford dealer.

Now showing just 70,000kms, this RS is powered by Ford’s 2.3L EcoBoost turbo producing 350hp and 440Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and Ford Performance AWD. It’s a car that can happily be driven every day but has all the hardware to get seriously entertaining when you want it to.

We’ve taken the car through a pre-purchase inspection, with only minor items noted: dull/faded fog lights and engine oil that is a little dirty. The workshop has recommended an engine flush at the next service, which we can organise for the right deal.

Sold with a fresh WoF and new rear brake pads, with the pads being replaced as they are due for the upcoming WoF. Fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres all round with 6–7mm of tread remaining, plus a spare Pilot Sport tyre included.
